Hello family!!! Kansas is going great. In only like four days i have meet so many new very nice people. When i was leaving for the mtc i thought i knew a good amount about the church, but when i got to the mtc i found out i knew very little haha! I have learned so much in the past twenty days its crazy!! My testimony has grow soooo much as well. That is funny josh is still being josh! Thats good that julia is still staying busy! I miss you guys a lot, but i am where i am suppose to be. i would not want to be anywhere else in my life than on my mission. So i wrote down some things i have noticed about Kansas. Everyone here smokes if they are non-member or not. Alot of people drink here as well, we try to stay way from the college campus on weekends because everyone gets drunk and is crazy! Everyone non member or member swears a lot haha! There are squirrels every where! There are spiders the size of small mice here that make me want to cry haha! There are a lot of trailer parks, and in those trailer parks about five million cats! But the people are very humble there, and some are completely crazy haha. One of our investigators is planing to get baptized on nov. 15 and i cant wait for him to be able to. His name is jack and he cant wait to be baptized! Then we have another guy named levi, when you walk into levis trailer house it smells like he had everyone come over and told them to pee all over anything they see. Then after they pee all over everything have there cats go over everything and pee on it as well. Lets just say his house does not smell good at all... But Levi is a great guy he looks like the hill billy guy on the Simpsons. Levi is planning on getting baptized on the 29th of nov. Another one of our investigators whos name is guy is really close to being baptized, i think the next time we go he will commit to a date! Then there is a member named gary! Gary is a super cool black guy! His personality make you laugh so hard though, you would think he was a hippy if you herd him talk. Hes always like "Shoooooooooot" or "Im about to get nasty with it" or "Your alittle bit too much dude" and he always says freeeken. My companion Elder Eyre (air) has a note book of quotes from him. Like gary lost his job and hes all like its all good ill just keep on keeping on. He is so nice and humble though, he would do anything for anyone. So elder Eyre is really cool. The elders from russle call him cowboy because he is from wyoming. He was the quarter back for his high school back in the day and went to this football bowl in utah with the best of the players. He know like everything about the gospel, i learn so much from him each day. He also cooks me food all the time haha! This is what we eat, in the morning cereal. For lunch we have chicken and rice. For dinner we have chicken and rice. So im starting to get sick of chicken and rice haha. Actually we had rice and eggs one time to mix it up haha. So i got hit on by some forty year old cougar in this trailer park which was kind of weird lol. She was like where are you from and i said utah and she was like you kind of look German, because german men are hot, so you could be German lol #awkward. I just sat there and said oh... Then we were walking through this trailer park and started talking to this guy. This guy said that he didnt believe in a god or anything because those trees over there know more than anyone else does and pointed to some trees hahahaha i started to laugh alittle but he didnt notice. After that we were talking and all the sudden he walked off and got in his car and didnt say anything. I thought he was going to get somthing to show us from his car or somthing but he starts his car and starts to drive off and waves to us haha. So in four days it has been interesting to say the least! i challenge you guys to read the book of mormon every night before bed. Dont just read a certain amount just read a verse and think about it and what it means it makes it so much more meaningful. Do that with a few verses or for a few minuets. I have noticed that it helps me so much more, i think about what i am reading instead of just reading to read. I know that if you guys read together and try to learn as a family you will grow closer to the family and your heavenly father. Julia make sure you keep doing whats right, i know you will. High school can have many temptations in it but you have to know what you stand for. You can still have fun throughout high school without doing stupid things. and for josh... you keep doing you hahahahahahahaha im sure you will be fine lol. I love all of you guys so much and miss you all so much.

Love, Elder Stock
